Am running Gnome 2.15 and under menu Desktop/Administration/Login Screen I get a gui which does not respond to any keystrokes or mouse moves.
I guess its looking and cant find some library somewhere but I dont know how to run it in terminal to fault find.
can someone tell me the terminal command name to run this application please.

Thanks for that answer to a really dumb question - why don't I read the screen???????
Running gdmsetup didnt show an error when running in the terminal so I re-installed gdm and then I could change login options with the gui.
HOWEVER, having selected a theme which was the fedora bubbles theme and then exited on reboot the theme was there and I logged in but just to check went into gdmsetup and guess what, frozen gui again !
It seems to work OK until I select and save a theme - does this mean the themes are corrupt ?
Anyone had this happen before ?
