booting problem in fedora 8


hi..

i have installed fedora 8 in a system, but on bootup the following error comes up:

ACPI: invalid PBLK length[5] red hat nash version 6.0.19 starting
unable to load SELinux Policy. Machine is in enforcing mode. Halting now.
Kernel panic-not syncing: attempted to kill init!

system config:
AMD Athlon XP 1700+ x86 Family
1.11 ghz, 512 MB RAM
2*40 GB IDE HDD

** fedora is installed on the second IDE HD (on hdb).
any suggestions ?

I've had a similar error before and it was because I had the partitions labeled wrong in grub.
Sorry I don't remember the details.

Can you post your partitions and grub.conf, we may be able to work it out from that.
