ACPI Kernel Errors :(

I have noticed that I don't have a meter anymore for my battery life. It is always down to 0% even though when I unplug it, it has battery life. When I checked my system log I found the following errors:

WARNING: Kernel Errors Present
ACPI-0105: *** Error: Could not alloc...: 5140 Time(s)
ACPI-0145: *** Error: Invalid owner_i...: 4 Time(s)
ACPI-0509: *** Error: Method executio...: 5140 Time(s)

Does this mean I need to re compile the kernel so that I can get this working again or is there a better (easier) way?

Thanks,
