Access denied when I try to install Zencart.
I am hosting my site on my Fedora 33 machine with httpd with the files in var/www/html and I have put Zencart in the folder store.
The first file when I go to webhouses.co.uk/store, it should run is index.php but I get access denied. I have put info.php in the folder to check and that gets phpinfo() with no problems.
I just cannot figure it out.
I have two buttons it on webhouses.co.uk store and store2. Store goes to a Square store but I want to run the zencart store pointed to by store2.
I have chmod -R 777 the index.php but nothing seems to work always getting access denied.
Any ideas being trying for days?
I never had a problem installing zencart when I hosted on other providers.
This user has proven himself to be doing shady business online, like selling Linux distros with a Windows desktop background, calling them "Windows 12 Lite".
I recommend not helping him to set up a web server.

If you give me your address I will take legal action against you for your libelous statements.
I have applied for the patent of windows 12 lite which is pending.
I have reported you for this and will take further action.

Selling a Linux distro isn't illegal, and it's up to Microsoft to defend their trademark. (If they don't care, why should we? Though trademark infringement might be fraud (IANAL) and would thus be against the LQ rules.)
However, posts like #3, #5 and responses like this are bigger reasons for why people may want to consider their interactions.
I will simply say that self-hosting an ecommerce store is asking for trouble - anyone not able to address the issues themselves should probably be looking at using an established ecommerce provider instead.

+1 to not self-hosting an ecommerce site. I point my customers to Square or PayPal...
As an aside, I don't see any liable in what's been said here...just a couple of observations about the OPs posting history and general non-responsiveness (except to threaten us). Definitely going on my ignore list.
Will Linux Questions please give me their legal address.
The distributor of the libel is also libel as they are the publisher.
I have reported the matter but the libel has not been removed as of 15:34 GMT 2nd December.
Under US section 230 of the Communications Decency Act the publisher i.e. LQ is not libel for remarks made by a member as far as I know.
Whether or not your following GPL and the copyright license for the linux lite proprietary software included in the distribution is another matter in addition to the possible trademark infringement of calling their product Windows. If LQ helps you do something possibly illegal then that would be against the rules. I leave that up to Jeremy to decide.
I have not heard of Micro Soft going after any linux distribution that copies one of their desktop themes but that again is another matter.
I agree that ondoho post is their opinion and doubt that anything posted here would result in any real damage although I consider it is a personal attack which is against the LQ rules.
