Below is a breif explanation of what I have right now;
1. I have installed Fedora Core 7 on my desktop, which comes with default shell which is bash.
2. Since I wanted try out Db2 UDB on linux, I installed DB2UDB succefully.
3. When I login to db2user and see the path everything is set perfectly for udb db2 in .bashrc and .bash_profile file
and automatically sets the path when I login.
4. I wanted to work on Korn Shell, so I installed Korn Shell and also changed the default shell.
Now my question is, everytime I login to use the db2(which has Lorn Shell as default), I have to set the db2 path explicitly by exporting the path. So, I am not sure how to set the path as in bash which sets the path automatically when I login.
Please needs help on this, I appreciate your help.\
I agree to put the path in .profile file, but i don't see any .profile file and kshrc file(i am not sure if we really need this) for this, instead of the .profile, there is .bash_profile file. Could you guide me how to acheive this.
