qi/graft on a different distro

How can i install qi and graft on a different Gnu/Linux distribution, so i can build packages with qi recipes on that distribution ?
I do find the sources for qi: http://git.savannah.nongnu.org/cgit/dragora.git/tree/qi
and the homepage of graft: http://peters.gormand.com.au/Home/tools/graft
but i am not sure about the exact steps i need to do to make them work together.
If those steps are listed in a README at savannah, a link to there is sufficient.

Thanks in advance.

One might ask what you mean by different, but in any case installation instructions are at http://peters.gormand.com.au/Home/to...aft/graft.html.

different -> a different one than Dragora Gnu/Linux.

The question was not how to install qi or how to install graft, but if there are any extra steps needed to make them work the way they work in Dragora Gnu/Linux.

From the Qi's README:

" Take into account when graft is installed, you can define some
macros like PACKAGEDIR and TARGETDIR. To be consistent use the
same paths when `configure', adjusting it via --packagedir and
--targetdir options. If you have not changed the default values
used on the graft installation, you can avoid these steps, since
Qi uses the same values for PACKAGEDIR and TARGETDIR of graft."

For some reason I can't edit the post anymore. For latest releases of qi (package manager) check: http://rsync.dragora.org/current/sources/

Thanks.
