I use debian OS


I want to use GUI mode of interface to do some work but my xserver does not work ,what is the problem?

Imagine you go to a mechanic and say:

My car doesn't work, what's the problem?
And you don't bring your car with you, you don't tell the mechanic any symptoms, etc. How is the mechanic supposed to know? How are you trying to start up the X server, what happens when you do it, what errors/warnings are you getting, what version of Debian are you using?
