Whoa...

But I just clicked the link for your monitor and the horizontal frequency is wrong (I found the frequency info on a different site...).

Replace your existing xorg.conf with this one

Section "Screen"
	Identifier	"Screen0"
	Monitor		"Monitor0"
	Device		"Video0"
	DefaultDepth	16

		Modes          "1024x768_85"
	EndSubSection
EndSection

Section "Device"
	Identifier	"Video0"
	Driver	"tdfx"
EndSection
Restart X and see what that does.

Also grep your /var/log/Xorg.0.log for warnings and errors.
