Wrong charachters in OpenOffice menu

Hi everyone,

I am using Debian lenny and Xfce desktop. As I had problem with the mirror that I had been using, few days ago I pointed my apt source.list file to
deb ftp://ftp2.de.debian.org/debian lenny main contrib non-free
and upgraded my system. After the upgrade from this mirror I noticed that my Open Office does not display its menu items any more. However, I have not noticed any problem with other applications' menus. I think upgrade from a German mirror has altered the default setting of my fonts and I don't know where to start to fix the problem . Your help and comments are highly appreciated.

Thanks,

kvl

Maybe in Open Office first try to go to Tools------>Options----> see if you can modify anything there.

Thank you hitest
The Problem is that none of the menus in the tool bar of OpenOffice shows readable charachters. The only thing I see are squares and rectangles

Is there any configuration file that OpenOffice use to set up menus in its tool bar?
