WiFi Connection Debian 10

Hi!

I've just installed successfully Debian 10 on an old laptop (Lanix, Intel Celeron), during the installation it drop me a message about the need of rt73.bin non-free firmware, so I've installed the non-free firmware package.

The system activates the WiFi card and detects the network, but it can't connect successfully.

The last logs of dmesg are:

Code:

I've never encountered this, but a web search for "Reason: 3=DEAUTH_LEAVING" turned up this: https://lists.debian.org/debian-user.../msg01045.html

Yeah! Thanks a lot frankbell, it works!
Problem solved with this:

Quote:
there is reference to a bug related to long names interfaces (the name with the MAC address).

The workaround is to inhibit the use of long names with the following
command
Code:
ln -s /dev/null /etc/systemd/network/99-default.link
Cheers!
