Compile and install

You can download the tarball from http://ngspice.sourceforge.net/download.html

Then compile and install with:
.configure --enable-xgraph --with-readline
make
sudo make install

I use debian etch, I had to add the following libraries to compile succesfully:
g++
libgtk2.0-dev
libxaw7-dev

There is gnucap with the gspiceui gui. gspiceui can also be used with ngspice, it's only in testing and unstable though.
As a thought, use "checkinstall -D make install" instead of just "make install" to get a package installed by dpkg for future easy removal.
