webmin in Debian + how to


hi
i have install webmin in my Debian .

when i m using https://localhost:10000

and askign for passwd and user ,

when i am giving my box user and passwd its not working ,,

how can i add user ,,

..actully i want to run shorwall firewall using webmin ,,

please help

IIRC, webmin can be logged in through root and it's passwd.

Yes. Root user and password. Because only the administrator can admin a system

If you install it manually you don't have to be root because you can choose your own userid and password for the webmin admin user.

Well, you can also add more users if you want to later on as well.

But anyway, since it was a Debian question, I gave a Debian answer.
