I have a Kensington bluetooth dongle that is hooked up through a USB hub into my computer. The gnome bluetooth thing pops up and acts like there is a bluetooth device present, but when I go into the settings they are all blanked out. I figured it was just something I setup wrong on my part, because I had the exact same setup on my old computer (Debian Lenny i386) and when I got my new computer I just unplugged the hub from the old computer and plugged it into my new one. I installed all the same programs and everything.
This is what confuses me: I was searching for the issue and found somewhere that a guy got his to work by plugging it straight into the computer. So I tried that, and it works perfectly.
What difference does it make if it is going through a hub or just plugged in?
This is the error dmesg spits out:
Code:
usb 1-1.4: new full speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 9
usb 1-1.4: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
hci_usb_intr_rx_submit: hci0 intr rx submit failed urb ffff810077cc46e8 err -28
Where can I find out what that error means? Any ideas?
Thanks!
