Unable to take X Window Snapshot.


I was able to do this the first time I logged in. After that I tried it a few times, the icon comesup in the task bar below and rotates, tries to open and then closes.

Please assist.

It's a problem with application you use for snapshoots. Run it from shell emulator, and post errors. It's the only way one could know what's the problem with application

How can I run this program from shell emulator ? What is the program command for this ?

It depend of what program you use for taking screen shoots.
See the command from yours DE menu, or write the name of application. Those are same or very similar.
btw: Find in /usr/bin or /usr/local/bin something sound like the app you use, it's probably it!

This was solved. I just found a different program.
This one is in the Graphics in the KDE Menu.
