thunderbird to icedove

Hello,

I was using Linux Mint and Thunderbird. Thunderbird keeps it's settings at,
Code:
/home/name/.thunderbird
.

I am trying Debian and Debian rebranded Thunderbird to Icedove. And Icedove is at,
Code:
/home/name/.icedove
.

Is it okay to simply rename .thunderbird to .icedove and continue using Debian's Icedove instead of Thunderbird email?

Thank you.
