Sid users who might want KDE 3.5.6

KDE 3.5.6 is available in experimental. It is not in unstable due to the etch freeze. It should be safe to install. It worked for me.

Hi
During the weekend I tried opensuse 10.2 and was surprised of their K button/menu which is a bit more organized (dunno how to describe it).
Does anybody know how to activate this? I thought it was in this release but haven't found it yet..

Suse 10.2 uses "kickoff"

Kickoff Sneak Preview
http://home.kde.org/~binner/kickoff/sneak_preview.html

A few sites also have versions for Ubuntu/Kubuntu, nothing for Debian that I could find unless you want to take the chance and ainstall an ubuntu package in Debian.

Kubuntu with Suse Kickoff Edgy Elf 6.10 KDE-Apps.org

Hum I think I will keep my glibc 2.3.6 and not switch to the glibc ubuntu uses just for this kickersomething
I don't have access to a svn client so I'm a bit stuck on this.
A source package would have been usefull..

and edgy uses glibc 2.4
http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=ubuntu

while our debian uses 2.3.6
http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=debian

I'm unable to get the source package of kickoff from his website, if it exist.. I never install binary package from repo which don't have a source package that I can check (and I even wonder if this is allowed.. but its ubuntu..)
