Segmentation fault $HTTPD -k $ARGV

Yesterday analyzing cron log i found strange thing:
Quote:
Syntax OK
/usr/sbin/apache2ctl: line 80: 29050 Segmentation fault $HTTPD -t
failed!
invoke-rc.d: initscript apache2, action "reload" failed.
So i've killed all apache2 process and removed pid file. But when i again try to start apache:
Code:
root@rei:/# invoke-rc.d apache2 start
Starting web server: apache2/usr/sbin/apache2ctl: line 80: 24198 Segmentation fault $HTTPD -k $ARGV
 failed!
invoke-rc.d: initscript apache2, action "start" failed.
But what's interesting that apache is running:
Code:
rot@rei:/# ps aux | grep apache
root 24199 2.6 0.5 209476 10724 ? Ss 16:37 0:00 /usr/sbin/apache2 -k start

www-data 24213 0.0 0.2 209476 5756 ? S 16:37 0:00 /usr/sbin/apache2 -k start
www-data 24214 0.0 0.2 209476 5756 ? S 16:37 0:00 /usr/sbin/apache2 -k start
www-data 24215 0.0 0.2 209476 5756 ? S 16:37 0:00 /usr/sbin/apache2 -k start
www-data 24216 0.0 0.2 209476 5756 ? S 16:37 0:00 /usr/sbin/apache2 -k start
www-data 24217 0.0 0.2 209476 5756 ? S 16:37 0:00 /usr/sbin/apache2 -k start
And when i try to check apache2 version i get something like this:
Code:
root@rei/# /usr/sbin/apache2 -v
Server version: Apache/2.2.6 (Debian)
Server built: Dec 7 2007 23:41:04
segmentation fault
So my question is: is it my installation of linux broken or is it apache2 error... ??

I have the same issue. Running the lenny/testing amd64 port.
Maybe downgrading is advisable?

I had the same issue. Updating to the newest package (2.2.8-1) from lenny did the trick for me.
