Review security updates when they are released

Hi.

We're running Debian servers at work, and we upgrade them on a regular basis. When important security are released, I'd like to review them and possibly implement them before the next scheduled upgrade.

Is there a way I say daily can get a list of security updates applicable for our systems, so that I decide whether to wait to the next upgrade before implementing these security updates?

EDIT: I used to work for a company where we had Red Hat Satellite Server, which provided us with a list of errata (bug/security fixes) that we'd review daily (see https://access.redhat.com/documentat...e/s1-sm-errata). If we could have something like this for Debian as well, without setting up a whole lot of infrastructure or new products, that would be awesome.

This post https://askubuntu.com/a/217999 summarizes various posts found on the 'net, amongst others https://www.debian.org/security/#keeping-secure, so I'm confident you'll find a stanza that works for you. As for your last remark: if spacewalk or apt-dater don't work for you then you'll prolly find an alternative searching for it.

Code:
apt-get -s ...
will simulate an action.

Thanks for the replies! I'll give this some more thought, and see what I end up with.
