Resize Ext3 partitions


hi

Howto resize Ext3 partitions, but no LVM from debian?
Can I use a tool like GParted?

U;m not sure if GParted hooks into it in the back ground, but resize2fs is the standard tool for doing this.

I believe Gparted can resize ext3 partitions.
Don't forget to backup any important data before you try resizing any partitions,just in case something goes wrong.

gparted is a front-end to several tools - the site lists filesystems supported. It's very good (especially the liveCD), but take note of the reminder from the trooper.
