Promise PDC20376 wont see the disk attached to the P-ATA port!
Is there any way i can get my Promise PDC20376 (FastTrak 376) to recognice the disk i got on the P-ATA port on my controller?
I'm using kernel 2.6.7-1-i386 and Debian unstable.
eh.. actually it's not a 2.4 vs. 2.6 problem - the code is new in both. AFAIK current 2.4 support is the same as 2.6, so you'd just have to wait until it's completed. But you're more than welcome to try a 2.4 if you want!
OOOooohh thx again fphillips, my english isnt very good so i guess i misunderstod some of the things i have read about it. Damn i think i will go back to school and learn a little more english
