problema with locales

Hi, I'm using debian sid and today when I made an upgrade I have some prorblem with locales and when I try to reinstall them (don't know how it was missed) i had:

Code:
#apt-get install locales
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
locales: Depends: glibc-2.5-1 but it is not installable
E: Broken packages
dpkg-reconfigure locales doesn't work ...obviously

now my sistem is in english (before it was in italian)

any suggestion ?

You are supposed to use aptitude, it gets you out of tricky situations like this..

I'm living without locales and with my language still in place.

I am completly up to date with unstable and have nothing from experimental.
