Problem with Root on Xandros

I am trying to access the administrator control but when i open it, is asking for a password in this yellow box. However my keyboard wont type nothing. My keyboard works fine on it and lets me type in the yellow box fine except the time it asks for a password, then no keys i press come up.

What is wrong.

I am using XandrOS, and it works fine to type in the password. It only does not work if you have the LAUNCH menu open.

What is the launch menu
