Problem with pcmanfm after fresh installation keeping old home folder

Hello,

I have the following problem:
had been using Debian Jessie up until now and decided to newly install Debian Buster. I decided to keep my old home folder. Everything seems to work so far, but I have a problem with pcmanfm, which seems to be related to some user permission problem(?). It crashed immediately after starting. The command line gives some gtk-warnings, and then says

Code:
Segmentation fault
However, I am able to run pcmanfm as sudo, and I also crated a new user, where it is also no problem.

I have removed all the configuration files I could think of, but it is still persisting.
Does this have something to do with user rights?

Any help would be appreciated!

Best,
Ph

Kernel is 4.19.0-14-amd64

...I managed to get it to work by changing the folder ~/.local to ~/.local.bak
something in there must have caused trouble.

I'll consider it solved. Thank you!
