Question no loop dev. after doing tasksel desktop / web server

hi

i recently installed a sarge using netinstall iso and minimal configuration (only console, no tasksel selections). after this i modified and recompiled my kernel 2.6.8-1 for my machine and build some loopaes (loop-AES-v3.0a + util-linux-2.12i) devices for /tmp, swap and a /home partitions. all was working fine... still packages and reboots later.. then i wanted to install a desktop environment using tasksel. i also selected the web server option. after installing all these packages and doing a restart later the system was unable to mount the loop devices. doing a lsmod showed me, that the loop.ko module wasn't loaded. executing a insmod loop.ko worked without problems and i was able to mount the loop devices but after rebooting the machine i had to insmod loop.ko again.

would be nice, if anyone could help me out here. sorry for my bad english. )

best regards,
-jim
