Multiple ethX how to configure?


I've installed debian today for the first time.

how I can set-up my 2° nework card?
There's not a gui interface ?

Even to set up route?

With lspci I found the device but ifup eth1 answer: unkniw interface eth1=eth1

Some help?

Edit /etc/network/interfaces and put in the following lines:

auto eth1 
iface eth1 inet static
        address nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn
        netmask nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn
        gateway nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn
Then run /etc/init.d/networking restart
