Multimedia System annoying error

Every time Gnome needs to play sound message pops up:
" Multimedia System
The audio playback device HDA Intel (AL C662 rev1 Analog) does not work.
Falling back to HDA Intel (AL C662 rev1 Analog)
"

yes, both 'cards' are the same. there is only one soundcard built in motherboard.
this very annoying problem has started few updates ago.

is there a solution?

thanks.

edit: I forgot to say that sound output does work in Amarok and rest.

This may not be a solution - since you specifically mentioned gnome. I do not know if this may happen with other desktop enviorments.
Anyway, try reconfiguring the audio with 'alsaconfig' as root.
If this is an issue that happens specifically with gnome then it is probablly gnome audio settings.
Hope this helps.
