man 2

On Debian Lenny, I seem not to have "man 2" (not installed and not in 'synaptic').

This seems to be necessary to 'man flock', as I am trying to find what value is required in registers in my NASM program, hoping 'man 2' can help although it will probably just give the C version.

Can anyone shed light on this?

Thank you for your answer.

util-linux: /usr/bin/flock
util-linux: /usr/share/man/man1/flock.1.gz
manpages-dev: /usr/share/man/man2/flock.2.gz
manpages-dev: /usr/share/man/man3/flockfile.3.gz

Looks like you need the manpages-dev package.
