mailq on exim - weird stuff

We have a server running Debian and exim for mail. This server just gets SMTP mails and forwards them to our Exchange server.

The thing is, every day, we get weird messages in our mail queue that have no sender, and the address is someone not at our company. The messages look like SPAMs, but since they're not for us, they get thrown into our mail queue (they don't get frozen, they just sit there).

Anybody know what this is? I usually just delete them.

Heh, maybe you should do something like -bvs to verify the sender of the message. But I think -bvs isn't daemon mode which most people need. Well, I'm sure you'll figure something out.

Thanks

I'll try that. I mostly just delete them. Anemail without a return address reeks of spam-ism.
