i can't log in to XFCE

i'm a debian sid + XFCE user. yesterday i reinstalled debian(keeping my home but deleting the configuration files-i ve done this many times) and i installed xfce as usually.
my problem is that i cant' log in to xfce.i type startx and after an attempt for X to load, it crashes. i tried with kde and fluxbox and there is no problem at all.

is it a bug???did you experience the same problem???
