How to install Clonezilla and mount multi-partitions cloned image disk under DEBIAN ?

Hello,

Simple question, which implies lot of complexity, unfortunately :
how to install Clonezilla and mount multi-partitions cloned image disk under DEBIAN ?

Wishing that one day Linux would be so easy and complete as Windows. But we are gaining more users, so Linux will have more apps

Clonezilla is it's own live distribution. What you have to do is figure out what program(s) are being used by Clonezilla to make the images. Then you should be able to install those under Debian and use them there.

Alternatively, you could just use dd to create a filesystem image and then mount those under debian like a normal file partition.

Code:
# part
partclone.chkimg partclone.fat partclone.hfsplus partclone.restore
partclone.dd partclone.fat12 partclone.info partclone.ufs
partclone.ext2 partclone.fat16 partclone.ntfs partclone.vfat
partclone.ext3 partclone.fat32 partclone.ntfsfixboot partclone.vmfs
partclone.ext4 partclone.fstype partclone.ntfsreloc partclone.xfs
partclone.ext4dev partclone.hfs+ partclone.reiser4 partx
partclone.extfs partclone.hfsp partclone.reiserfs
thanks! with sourceforge one can grab the deb and it is straightforward to install the program... cool.

I miss the frontend of parted live cdrom

Looks to me like you downloaded partclone, not partimage.

You do know partimage is in the Debian repositories?:

http://packages.debian.org/lenny/partimage
