I know this may sound like a very basic question, but how do I put the Debian ISO on my pendrive in a way that it WORKS?
I've followed the instructions in the Debian official guide here
https://www.debian.org/CD/faq/#write-usb which recommends using Win32diskimager, but the pendrive just won't boot.
I also tried using Rufus instead but it didn't work. I've used Rufus several times to put an Ubuntu ISO on the same pendrive and it works
every single time.
The ISO that I'm trying to use is debian-9.6.0-amd64-DVD-1. Also tried firmware-9.6.0-amd64-DVD-1.
Thanks for your help.
