Reinstall GRUB. You can access your Linux install from a live disc, chroot to it and reinstall grub. Sometimes when you resize partitions, you move the kernel and other files needed at boot time, so you have to reinstall the bootloader.
I found live cd from Debian (casper) , few questions :
1. What is its root (sudo ?)
2. How exactly do I install Grub ? I tried to install with apt-get but I do not have access to internet. Can I install it from the cdrom , pls tell me step by step command ...
Thanks.

I've never used that cd, so can't tell you much about it. What you need to do is run the live cd, login as root and mount your Linux installation (the one on the hard drive) somewhere e.g. /media/debian. After that "chroot" into that environment and reinstall grub e.g.

Code:
#chroot /media/debian
#grub-install /dev/hda
Isn't mounting /dev not required in the chroot?
