gpg key for debian

I installed debian using 5 of the reccomended CDs. Now I want to do a dist-upgrade (online). Do I need any special gpg key or anything like that? I downloaded one for debian-multimedia. It was really easy. Is there something like that for the debian mirrors? I've used apt-get to install stuff on another computer, and I vaguely remember something about it, but I cannot recall the details. Thanks in advance. Any help would be apreciated.

So there is a special key... but it's already installed, even if I installed from an incomplete set of disks and I didn't have an internet connection at the time?

If you encounter a gpg related error from the official Debian repos,...
# aptitude install debian-archive-keyring
