gnomad2 2.9.4 crashing on Debian Squeeze

I recently installed Debian Squeeze on my desktop, replacing an Ubuntu 9.04 variant (CrunchBang). Since then, I've been unable to use gnomad2 to scan my 30GB Creative Zen Touch. Here is the relevant portion of /var/log/messages:

Code:
Mar 28 17:31:38 squeezebang kernel: [170473.176033] usb 2-4: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 10

Mar 28 17:31:39 squeezebang kernel: [170473.309496] usb 2-4: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
Mar 28 17:32:20 squeezebang kernel: [170514.908718] gnomad2[17780]: segfault at 51 ip 0805860c sp b61922c0 error 4 in gnomad2[8048000+28000]
I haven't tried installing an older version under Squeeze, but that might be my next step.

There seem to be a few similar bugs reported against gnomad2 in Debian right now.

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgre...gi?pkg=gnomad2

It is probably worth checking if yours is the same, if not, you should file a bug report.

Cheers,

Evo2.

Thanks for the reply. Bug #571663 looks remarkably similar. I'll see if I can update the report with my /var/log/messages output.
