GLibc problem

Anyone using Debian Etch with the glibc realloc problem? GDM won't work and gnome either. Xorg won't start sometimes. I tried downgrading libglib2 et libglib1.2 from sarge but it still doesn't work.

libglib is emphatically not glibc. The C standard library (i.e. glibc) pacakages are named "libc"; do an `apt-cache search libc | grep ^libc | sort | head'. Those are probably the packages you want to muck with (substitute less for head and have a brief look at all the packages too).

I recall having realloc issues a while back, but everything seems to work just fine (or, I should clarify, as fine) as I suspected.

So, try up- or downgrading the libc packages.
