ARGH!

The problem had gone away, but yesterday I did a complete reinstall of Debian and now the problem is back to haunt me. I never figured out what caused it in the end... My best guess is that it's something in the kernel that I eventually got rid of before. Right now the kernel I'm using isn't as lean as the one I was using before I reinstalled...

Ugh.

Oh well, at least OpenGL is working nicely this time 'round.
