fortune- All my fortunes are in a different language.

When i type a fortune command into bash, the output is always in French or some other language, but not English. Any idea on how to fix this?

I guess you have installed additional language packages for fortune? If this is the case, you can safely remove them and fortune will show you English fortunes only.
