I use debian unstable on amd64. gvim does not display plain text file correctly.
When starting, the following message appears:
tathong@fat-penguin:~/tmp$ gvim a.c

The line

is displayed as
#kpdnwef <uwekq.i>
gvim version: 7.035
Any solution?
