driverproblem + sis.

This is my problem:

lspci gave me this about my gfx-card:
Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] 65x/M650/740 PCI/AGP VGA Display Adapter

So i googled around to see if i could find a driver with opengl-support. I found a new driver, so i tried it. I was unlucky and forgot to take backup of the driver i had - before i 'installed' the new one.

Everytime i try to watch a movie, mplayer/xine freezes my whole machine. I can't log in through console either.

I was hoping that someone here could help me out - and tell me where to find drivers, or maybe upload.

Reboot into recovery mode ( grub gives you this option ), try modconf from the CLI, see if you can unload the driver that you installed, and reload the original driver.
If you dont have modconf

apt-get install modconf

Hopfully that will atleast be a starting point to try another alternative.
