Debian temp and fan speed detection - sensors

Hello everyone.

I'm running Debian Sid AMD64, kernel version 4.6.0-1-amd64.

My motherboard is an ASUS M4A88TD-M/USB3. GPU: Radeon HD 6870.

When running the command sensors, I get this output:

Quote:
atk0110-acpi-0
Adapter: ACPI interface
Vcore Voltage: +0.90 V (min = +0.85 V, max = +1.60 V)
+3.3 Voltage: +3.30 V (min = +2.97 V, max = +3.63 V)
+5 Voltage: +4.89 V (min = +4.50 V, max = +5.50 V)
+12 Voltage: +12.08 V (min = +10.20 V, max = +13.80 V)
CPU FAN Speed: 2242 RPM (min = 600 RPM, max = 7200 RPM)
CHASSIS FAN Speed: 0 RPM (min = 600 RPM, max = 7200 RPM)
CPU Temperature: +41.0°C (high = +60.0°C, crit = +95.0°C)
MB Temperature: +42.0°C (high = +45.0°C, crit = +75.0°C)

k10temp-pci-00c3
Adapter: PCI adapter
temp1: +0.0°C (high = +70.0°C)
(crit = +99.5°C, hyst = +97.5°C)

radeon-pci-0100
Adapter: PCI adapter
temp1: +50.5°C (crit = +120.0°C, hyst = +90.0°C)
As you can probably see, there are 2 problems here. First one is there's no temp output for the module k10temp. This module is, however, loaded:

Quote:
# lsmod | grep k10
k10temp 16384 0
I've been reading for a while, and tried a number of different things, but I had no luck.

The second problem is the one that bothers me the most. It's the fact the GPU is not getting a fan speed output. This is the cause that got me to checkout "sensors" output in the first place, because the fan of the video card tends to run extremely fast, making it too loud, when doing nothing.

Just to give you a quick example, when I run Audacity, the fan goes crazy, as when opening file-roller.

I'm using the free ATI/RADEON drivers. I'd like to tweak the fan speed for the GPU. I think that if sensors is not informing this speed, I won't be able to tweak anything.

Anyway, do you guys any suggestions?

Thanks for your time.

Question 4.6!?

You run SID and have a 4.6 Kernel??? - I have a 4.7 Kernel (built in September, and it's November now)! Maybe
Code:
apt-get update; apt-get dist-upgrade
will fix it because versions actually match then or bugs have been fixed? (It's been some months since 4.6 and it's Sid (i.e. unstable) after all: Constantly changing/fixing.)

(This probably sounds harsh but is not intended to be unpolite. I'm just trying to be clear. )

What about running "sensors-detect"?
And upgrading at least the kernel to the latest version is also very advisable.
