Debian Booting Problem inWindows XP

Hi,

I'm trying to Install debian using Robert Milan's Debian.exe file in WindowsXP OS.

I executed .exe file, Once after completion of download its getting the following 2 errors and not showing the option of Debian Installer after rebbot the machine

1. Error opening file for writing C:\glrdr
2. Error opening file for writing C:\grub

Can any one help me on this ?

I tried same thing on Windows 2000 It works fine

Regards,
Pawan.

Those files are part of grub4dos. I too had no problem with grub4dos (only, not this Debian installer) when I tried it on Win2k, but at the time the developer mentioned issues with XP (SP2 only from memory).
I believe they were later cleared up.

Might be worth persuing on the debian or grub4dos fora. Does Millan provide a support list ???.
