debian 2.4 vs 2.6


what are the differents between both version of this

debain sarge 2.4 and and 2.6

and what if i have alreadyinstalled 2.4 can i upgrade to 2.6 without any problem or ???

You can just apt-get install the latest kernel.

apt-cache search kernel-image

Thatll show you the possible downloads.

2.6 is much faster with better support for newer hardware
