Can't resolve 'security.debian.org'

Hi,
I can not duplicate the problem you are having (assuming that it is not already fixed).
I can make it fail, but not with the result you are getting.
You might try commenting out everything in your /etc/apt/sources.list except this one line:
deb http://security.debian.org/ stable/updates main
and try the apt-get update command, and see what result you get.
I think it is possible that if you have several lines in /etc/apt/sources.list, it may be hiding the fact that this one is not updating correctly until you try to use it.
I may be wrong.

Exclamation Re: Could not resolve 'security.debian.org'

Hi,

This error message ("Could not resolve 'security.debian.org'") is back for me since the Wednesday, 30th of June 2010.

I run a "Debian GNU/Linux squeeze/sid".

Does anyone knows what happens with this site?

Regards.
