confusing problem


im not sure if there is something wrong in configureation or what but some images for my site do not show up...the addresses are correct for them...

i have a directory on my site called "images" BUT when i try to access it my server says that there isnt one so i get 404..when i try to access anything in that folder i get 404 error...is there maybe server config problem??

Are you being careful about case? Images != images != IMAGES != iMages etc... This is especially problematic when using a windows program to create links since Windows doesn't care about case sensitivity.

yes, i am being careful of case..i dont know what is going on thought...confusing to me

Could you post the part of the config file regarding this folder? Or better still, upload the config as a text-file on the web and post the link here for us to examine. Of course you best leave out (better: change it's value in the file, not the config itself) anything that may compromise the server
