chroot in AMD64 with NIS

Hello,

I've been unsuccessfully trying to create a chroot environment to be able to run 32 bit apps in a Debian AMD64 system.

I realized that running NIS as client in the chroot environment and the AMD64 main system as NIS server is the best way to set this up.

I'm completely inexperienced with NIS and searched the web for examples and asked on fora, but cannot find help.

Can somebody please share config files for NIS and any pointers you may have on setting the chroot up like this?

Thanks in advance.
