chmod FAT32 partition
Hello!
I use a FAT32 partition for sharing between Linux and Windows. The problem is that I can not write on it as a normal user. As root I've tried "chmod -R 777 /windows", but the permissions I get are "drwxr-xr-x". Using the same command I can change permisions of other folders, just the partition doesnt work.
I'm running Debian Etch with Kernel 2.6.15-1-486.
The FAT32 partition is 62 GB big, don't know if this could be also a problem as I can normaly read and as root it is also posible to write on it.
Has someone got any idea of what I'm doing wrong?
Thank you in advance,
Gabriel
