Character set in the terminal

when i log into my pure textual environment (with ALT+F1) it suddenly changes the character set from iso-8859-2 to iso-8859-1. How can I setup my character setup to be ISO-8859-2 when I turn to textual mode with ALT+F1....F6

thanx in advance
