Cannot mount Creative Zen Micro

I'm using Debian 3.1r0, and I recently acquired a Creative Zen Micro. It says on the box that the minimum system requirements are Windows 98SE upwards, so I assumed that it's just a plain USB mass storage device.

Whenever I plug it in, it pops up under lsusb, but there is nothing under /dev/ to mount it. I have installed gnomad2 (which claims there is no Jukebox on the USB), and I am using the 2.6 kernel. Hotplug seems to just sit there as well.

Any ideas? TIA.

I have a Creative Zen Touch, I use Gnomad2. Did you run Gnomad as user or root? I just got mine today, I couldn't get mine to work as user. I am still working on it.

I don't know about yours but mine can't be mounted.
