is there a way to change the boot loader that comes with the knoppx HD install (using LILO) so it's less plain- more colorful???

apt-get install grub
grub-install /dev/hda
update-grub
vi /boot/grub/menu.lst and leave it alone or add your favorite background image

Only problem with that is
I'm booting from hdb
(my hda has winXP on it only)

and my lilo.conf looks like:

boot=/dev/hdb
vga=0x31a
prompt
timeout=50
append = "hda=scsi hdb=scsi hdc=scsi hdd=scsi hde=scsi hdf=scsi hdg=scsi hdh=scsi apm=power-off nomce"
disk=/dev/hdb bios=0x80
disk=/dev/hda bios=0x81


image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.22-xfs
label=knoppix
root=/dev/hdb5


## A Windows installation, example for partition 1 on first IDE harddisk
other=/dev/hda1
label=XP
optional
table=/dev/hda
map-drive=0x80
to=0x81
map-drive=0x81
to=0x80

so my question is, can GRUB be remapped the same way???
