Where can I get the microcodes for bcm43xx for Debian??
Tried to get ndiswrapper going, which worked under Suse, but the directory /lib/modules/2.6.18-5-486 doesn't have what the install script wants.

I get this when trying to install from ndiswrapper source. There is no directory /build on this computer.

vaya:/home/peter/Desktop/srctemp/modules/ndiswrapper# make KBUILD=/lib/modules/2.6.18-5-486
Can't find kernel build files in /lib/modules/2.6.18-5-486;
give the path to kernel build directory with
KBUILD=<path> argument to make
make: *** [prereq_check] Error 1

Any tips?

You get the microcodes from the same source that ndiswrapper uses, the Windows XP driver file for your wireless device. Download and install the b43-fwcutter and/or the bcm43xx-fwcutter packages to extract the firmware (mircocode) files.
